Medium, maybe, but not bland!

The heat of a pepper is measured in Scoville units, a medium-heat pepper will deliver anywhere between 5,000 to 15,000 units, which means that it’s going to have a decent kick in salsas, marinades and believe it or not, jams.

Can you eat it raw? Sure! The heat usually comes form the ribs and seeds, so if you want to reduce the amount of heart, remove them completely and never rub your eyes or nose after touching these peppers.
